I got my new stamps from Marks Finest Papers this week and I'm in love, that is with a cute little scarecrow. I colored him with Copic's. I used smooch spritz on the spellbinder die in gold. It shimmers a lot but does not show well in the pic. Thanks to Carol (gingerbeary8) at SCS for showing all the beautiful idea's with MFP Stamps. She is always such an inspiration. =^..^=

Boo's ( hariet ) new favorite place in our scrappy room. She has three paper flowers in the bottom that she plays with and sleeps on. Guess I need to buy me another box.

Daddy's Birthday Card

I saw a very talented person make a card very similar to this about a year ago and thought it so fantastic I just had to try. Her SCS is sandtac. I  cheated and downloaded some Digital fish and then cut fins from vellum. I used way more Sakura clear star pen then what the photo shows. I then glassed the whole body. Oh did I mention this is the second fish.....1st fish had an accident and did not survive. Thanks for looking.

Happy 4th of July

 

Just a fun and easy card. I caught the red, white and blue bug last night and couldn't stop. I used Martha Stewart, Punch Bunch burst and Fiskers star. I also put Martha diamond stars and used brilliance Ink sponged. Cuttlebugged the star background. Its hard to see after many pic's but the blue stars and blue florets are shiny cs. Hope you like. 

Mothers Day 2011

MY FIRST FLOWER POT CARD AND I LOVE IT. I made this for my Mother with Fred She Said Flowers and added Stardust pens to enhance. Freds Flowers are so gorgeous they don't need anything. I have recently gone download crazy. I had no idea there was so much to Digis. Thanks to Carol "gingerbeary8"  for all the inspiration and encouragement. Your cards are so amazing.

My first circle card.

Another for Mary. This was fun. I need to make more of these. After it was folded I feared leaf breakage so I made a little box for it. The two circles read " You'll be running....circles in no time. The recipient had foot surgery. I won't tell you I made a major mistake on this one but thank heavens for GLUE.............

Another card for my dear friend. Funny Story....Notice there is a stone missing on the right side. I was horrified when I saw this picture and the mail had already gone out to her with this miss happen card. I immediately called her and explained. I sent out just one small tiny stone and all was fixed by her. The strange part.....I found that missing stone stuck to my chair side some four weeks later. All I could do was laugh. Oh by the way the flowers are from the Cricut cupcake wrappers. I need to play with those more often. Thanks for looking.   

Be Strong, Be You

This is one of many cards I did this spring for a dear friend for her to give away to very special people in her life. I got this idea from hordemother on SCS. Her card is called FlutterbyButterflies. Thank you so much for giving a great idea for this card.

2nd Easter Card

A real simply but elegant one using Spellbinders and Embossing folder. I used Golf Leaf pen around the edges of the core'dinations Pearlized cs. I put small half pearls on the cross. Thanks for looking. 

MISS ME!!!!!!!!

Boy did I get behind on my posting. Bear with me as I try to get caught up. I'll start with a couple of Easter cards. This I call my Pretty Purple Cross. I used Crosses of Hope Stampin Up and Spellbinders. I put fuzzy purple stuff around the edge. Not to sure if I like that. Thanks for looking.

F4A59 on SCS, Embedded Embossing, Faux Flowers. So much fun and so easy. I Could think of a thousand ways to do this. Thank you for the inspiration. 

Spring Tote

TLC319 on SCS, Totally Totebags. Very fun and easy. Word of caution..if you want to emboss the handles I suggest trying two layers glued together after embossing. They keep tearing at the edges. Thanks for looking.

Happy Chinese New Year-Year of the Rabbit 2011

I just couldn't resist and had to make one of these cards ( napkin fold card ) that I saw on Carol's,
( gingerbeary8 ) website. It was so amazing and beautiful. She is such a great artist. It was basically easy to figure out the fold but the tedious part (and many days later) was getting all the triangles done and figuring out what to put on them. As far as the center goes don't even ask. Three centers later I was finally satisfied with a Digi ( Swing Shift Designs ) that I found, because out of like a billion stamps I don't have a simple rabbit.
( make note: look for stamps with all of the Chinese Zodiac ). I used some Digi paper and gold and red shimmer paper. I also used my Cricut cartridge Pagoda for the dragonflys and the two corners. One is Harmony and the other is Happiness. I used mixed micro beads around the Digi and gold and silver Dew Drops. I also put a cardboard easel on the back to make it stand up. I hope you like it. Thanks to Carol for such beautiful ideas.

Happy Birthday Mom

01/12/11, This is the card I made for Mom's Birthday. I had a lot of fun making these flowers with ribbon, needle and thread. I sort of got addicted to making flowers last month after I saw a tutorial somewhere. I cut out the leaves on velvet paper. I've been practicing more flowers so watch out!

Re-Model Over

WOW, I can't believe how beautiful my new office is. Finally work will not consume my every moment and I can get some of my creations posted. Thanks to everyone on Splitcoast I have not thanked lately for their beautiful inspirations. See you soon...
